Our Prime Minister
Over the past week, the Labour party has been dealt a resounding thrashing. Every single local authority in England which it—prior to Thursday—controlled, it’s lost. The European Parliamentary Election results suggest that Labour, although not doing quite as badly, has suffered some crushing blows.
As such, I’m forced to wonder: when our unelected Prime Minister hosts press conferences, as is his want, on what basis and authority can he possibly claim to know “what the people want”?
