Tumbled Logic

Aug 16 2009
I’ve been collecting together various icons I’ve (I hesitate to use the word “designed”)… made. The process is sluggish, because in many cases I’ve never done more than a 512x512 version—I’ve just let Mac OS X, in some cases with quite poor results, scale them down when needed.

As I do them, I’m putting them all in my public iDisk folder (in Finder, just choose Go → iDisk → Other User’s Public Folder…, and enter my MobileMe username: mo.mcroberts).

I’ve also uploaded the PSD I use as a template. It’s nothing particularly special, but some might find it useful. It’s based upon a screenshot of Icon Composer, and sliced so that when you Save for web & devices… it outputs sensibly-named PNGs for each size, and includes some convenient background layers. Go crazy.
